B2B Marketplace Development: How We Built Platia, Mexico's #1 Circular Commerce Platform

Platia is a Mexico-focused B2B circular marketplace for home, events, hotels, and restaurants. Businesses generate surplus inventory — furniture, decor, equipment, stock that never sold. Without a way to reuse or resell it, that inventory went to waste. The founders wanted a marketplace where businesses could recover value from surplus and direct proceeds to social causes.

Challenge

The circular economy sounded good in theory, but nobody had built a marketplace that made business buyers trust the model. Existing platforms were consumer-focused, and the founders' early attempts at building the UX couldn't explain circular inventory in a way that felt credible to hospitality and events buyers. They needed a marketplace where buyers and sellers could transact, with browsing across home, events, hotels, and restaurants, and proof that purchases create social impact. Without that proof, the marketplace would stall.

Build

We rebuilt the marketplace around trust. Businesses list inventory on their own. No engineering support. Buyers browse by category and find what they need. Every purchase shows the donation total so buyers know where it goes. The system handles everything from a single chair to bulk surplus stock.

Outcome

Platia is now the top B2B circular marketplace in Mexico. The platform hosts 2,000+ published products from 350+ active sellers across four verticals: home, events, hotels, and restaurants. Over $500,000 has been donated to social causes through platform transactions. Businesses that used to write off surplus inventory now recover value and fund social causes. Skeptical buyers came back.

GlobalFit is the top gym in Ciudad Madero, Mexico -- 1,000+ active members, 150+ classes per month, $599-$1,999/mo pricing tiers. We didn't just build a website. We built five interconnected systems: a gym management platform with subscription billing (Next.js 16, React 19, Prisma, PostgreSQL, 87 API endpoints), an AI receptionist for WhatsApp (Claude Agent SDK), a landing page, a case study video reel, and a hybrid experience -- all integrated into a unified digital infrastructure.

Challenge

GlobalFit had a website that looked like every other gym and zero digital infrastructure behind it. No subscription management, no class scheduling system, no AI-powered customer support, no self-service tools. Members had to call to change plans, pause memberships, or ask basic questions. Competitors with better local SEO were capturing search traffic. The gym needed more than a website -- they needed a complete digital operating system: subscription billing, automated customer support, class scheduling, and local SEO working together.

Build

We built five systems, not one. The gym management platform handles 87 API endpoints: member subscriptions, tiered pricing ($599-$1,999/mo), class scheduling (150+ classes/month), and payment processing. The AI receptionist (Claude Agent SDK + WhatsApp) handles member inquiries 24/7 -- plan changes, class bookings, general questions -- without staff intervention. The landing page converts visitors with clear pricing and local SEO. A case study video reel showcases the transformation. The hybrid experience bridges digital and in-person. Every piece connects.

GlobalFit is the #1 gym in Ciudad Madero with 1,000+ active members, 150+ classes per month, and a 4.8 Google rating. The platform carries self-service subscription management that cut churn, an AI receptionist that handles member support 24/7, and local SEO that ranks on Google and ChatGPT for fitness queries. AI Agent Memory: How We Built Squish, Open-Source Persistent Memory for AI Coding Agents

Squish is a memory system for AI coding agents, built by 4M Labs and available open-source at squishplugin.dev. AI coding tools create useful context every session: architectural decisions, implementation patterns, lessons learned. But that context vanishes when the session ends, the branch switches, or the task completes. Teams lose that knowledge and hit the same walls again. Squish solves this by giving AI agents durable, searchable project memory that persists across sessions and tools.

Challenge

Every AI coding assistant has the same blind spot: context dies at the end of a session. A developer spends 30 minutes explaining why a certain pattern was chosen, the session ends, and the next session starts from zero. No tool existed that gave AI agents durable, searchable memory. Ad-hoc solutions (paste context into a file, hope the AI reads it) were fragile and did not survive refactors or branch switches. The problem wasn't that AI couldn't remember. Nothing existed to make it remember. Without a fix, teams would keep paying the re-discovery tax on every task.

Build

We built a SQLite-backed memory runtime with seven structured tools: squish_search for discovering relevant memories, squish_remember for storing new ones, squish_recall for retrieving specific knowledge, squish_learn for capturing success and failure patterns, squish_context for loading project-relevant memories into a session, squish_stats for monitoring system health, and squish_inspect for debugging why a memory was retained or routed. The architecture supports memory consolidation, pinning, linking, and staleness detection, so memory stays useful instead of rotting into noise. We integrated it as an MCP server so it works with any AI coding agent, not just a specific tool. Technical teams get memory that persists across sessions, branch switches, and handoffs.

Outcome

Squish is live at squishplugin.dev. Open source. It is used internally across 4M Labs projects and available to the broader AI developer community. Teams no longer lose context between sessions. Memory sticks around and stays searchable. SQLite handles storage. MCP Protocol connects to any agent.

Every AI session used to start from zero. Now decisions and patterns stick around.

Gas Delivery Marketplace: How We Built GasGo, a Complete Uber Eats for LP Gas

GasGo is a complete gas delivery marketplace connecting customers, drivers, and gas businesses with real-time tracking and seamless management. Built as a five-platform system -- landing site, admin dashboard, API backend, customer app, and driver app -- it handles everything from order placement to real-time delivery tracking with IoT device integration.

Challenge

The LP gas delivery market in Mexico was underserved and fragmented. Gas companies relied on phone orders, manual dispatch, and had no visibility into delivery operations. Customers had no way to track orders, manage devices, or reorder conveniently. Existing solutions were either consumer-focused (not built for B2B gas operations) or required expensive custom development. The client needed a complete platform that could handle the full delivery lifecycle -- from customer order through driver fulfillment -- with real-time visibility at every step.

Build

We built five interconnected platforms as a single system. The landing site handles marketing and lead generation. The admin dashboard gives operations real-time visibility into orders, drivers, and analytics. The API backend (Next.js 14 + Prisma + PostgreSQL) handles business logic, authentication, and data flow. The customer app (Android, Google Maps integration) lets users place orders, track deliveries in real-time, and manage IoT devices. The driver app handles order acceptance, route optimization, and delivery confirmation. Firebase push notifications keep both sides informed. QR code generation enables IoT device management.

Outcome

A production-ready platform supporting 10,000+ concurrent users with real-time order tracking, payment integration, driver route optimization, and IoT device management. The system is complete and being resold to gas company CEOs as a licensable platform ($15K-$25K license + $5K-$10K/yr maintenance). Five platform components, one unified system.
